How Mursion Software Works

Powered by a blend of artificial intelligence and live human interaction, Mursion provides immersive VR training for essential skills in the workplace. By using trained professionals who orchestrate the interactions between learners and avatar-based characters, Mursion simulations achieve the realism needed to deliver measurable, high-impact results.

Applicable to any situation requiring high stakes interpersonal skills, the approach has demonstrated impact in leadership development, sales enablement, customer service, and diversity, equity and inclusion, across industries. Authentic interactions engage the emotional and cognitive faculties for learning that drives true behavioral change.

What is a Simulation Specialist?

The Simulation (or Sim) Specialist is a live human operator who parachutes into different characters and environments, creating consistent-yet-customizable scenarios tailored for your learning needs. All Mursion Sim Specialists have acting or performance arts backgrounds in order to create an authentic, non-scripted experience for the learner. Improv experience is particularly relevant, as the essence of improv training is the development of empathy with the audience.

The scenarios that Mursion creates for its customers have clear and measurable learning objectives, and Simulation Specialists are given specific guidelines to ensure the best quality experience and outcome from each scenario. Before a Simulation Specialist delivers any simulation to a client, they rehearse the relevant scenario extensively and must pass a live audition that confirms they can deliver the scenario to Mursion’s standards and the client’s satisfaction.
